The village on top of the island is named Anacapri. One of the ways to get there is by taking the vehicle-from-hell (also known as mini bus). The local drivers (who do this road 100 times every day from age 16 until retirement or untimely death), are bored to tears, and try to spice up the day by driving at 100 Km/hour on this one lane road, if possible without stopping to let the vehicle coming from the opposite direction pass. | |
|
Vehicle-from-hell ride highly recommended for extreme-sports enthusiasts, if you have a death-wish, or for that 85 year-old rich uncle. |
