	Temple festivals are a daily occurrence in Bali. On any given day there is a temple festival somewhere on the island.
	On the occasion of a temple festival, business life as we know it ends. Everybody in the village is involved: presenting offerings, participating in prayers, parades and all kinds of other activities.
	If you work in the city and your home village has a temple festival, you take several days off from work and go home for the festival. A city employer must make allowances that a certain percentage of the workforce will always be off work, due to temple festivals and other ceremonies.
